❌👑No Kings, Just Neighbors
What we built last April, and what comes next...
Food insecurity in Central and Eastern North Carolina is now at its highest level in nearly 20 years, with 1 in 5 of our neighbors being impacted.
At Hands Off on April 5th of last year, you helped to raise over $6,000 for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, providing more than 30,000 meals for your neighbors, and packed seven vehicles’ worth of food for our neighborhood food banks!
Together, you demonstrated the power of community, and this year, we are asking you to do it again.
Raleigh 50501 NC and TRU Coalition Partners are hosting a fundraiser to support the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, along with hosting a pantry & snack food drive at the No Kings Rally on March 28th, from 1-3 pm, at the North Carolina State Capitol in Raleigh, NC.
Virtual Fundraiser for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina
For every $10 donated to our fundraiser, 50 meals are provided to help families in need. Even if you only have $1 to give, every dollar counts when it comes to feeding our neighbors. Monetary donations can be made online to the FBCENC at https://www.justgiving.com/page/50501-northcarolina.

When you bring them with you on March 28th, donation items should be placed inside clearly marked donation boxes, which will be staged throughout the area.

Pack the Bus! Snack Food Drive at No Kings
Last summer, WCPSS announced some schools would no longer receive funding for the Universal Free Breakfast Program due to federal cuts to SNAP benefits and increased eligibility requirements for students. Bottom line… students are going hungry at school.
Items donated to Wake County Indivisible’s Pack the Bus campaign will benefit students in the Wake County Public School district.
