50501 NC is joining the North Carolina Association of Educators and thousands of North Carolinians for a day of action on Friday, May 1st, in Raleigh, NC, and we want you there with us.

Our kids deserve better. North Carolina is 50th out of 50 states in public school funding. Not because we cannot do better, but because powerful people chose to put corporations and tax breaks ahead of our children and our schools. Our teachers are being asked to do more with less every single day, and our communities are feeling it.
We are asking you to take the day off work, bring your family and your children, and march with us. Tell a friend. Tell a neighbor. The more of us who show up, the harder we are to ignore. We hope to see you there.
