Billionaires have taken over the federal government, gutted public services, and used your tax dollars to line their own pockets. They've weaponized government funds to bolster a private army that is kidnapping and killing our neighbors, declared war on unions and public education, and moved to nationalize elections… because authoritarianism can not survive an organized people.
Enough. On May 1st, thousands of organizations are calling for no work, no school, and no shopping. A full stop on the oligarch takeover.
From every corner of North Carolina, we're coming out to demand that our families come before their fortunes, that ICE and private armies be dismantled, and that our elections are free, fair, and out of their hands.
We are workers, parents, students, and neighbors who are done waiting. We want thriving public schools, affordable housing, accessible & affordable healthcare, and a government that answers to people, not to billionaires and their bottom line.
They have the money. We have the numbers. May 1st, we use them.
Below is a list of May Day events happening across North Carolina on May 1st, 2026. 50501 NC is committed to maintaining a weapon-free, accessible, non-violent protest environment. We call for attendees to practice de-escalation when necessary, but please note that values and procedures vary from organization to organization.

The SUPERMAJORITY PLAN TO IMPEACH TRUMP and HIS ADMINISTRATION
It will take 292 house and 67 senate votes to obtain a supermajority vote. This is the key to accomplishing anything in the house or senate. The house and senate will be able to impeach Trump and his administration for their crimes and corruption.
The Democrats are the only ones that will stand against Trump. We have to vote out as many republicans as possible.
EVERYONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS IN THE NOVEMBER 3RD MIDTERM ELECTIONS TO MAKE THIS WORK
Make sure you share this with everyone you know without social media. People without social media are unaware how corrupt and detrimental Trump’s administration really is for our country. The media outlets do not post anything negative about Trump. Some people don’t even know what the midterm elections are or how important they are.
